Campaign Planning

What is it?
Vandever Batten helps a client determine its readiness for a campaign by creating and evaluating its case for support. Through that process, we recommend a campaign strategy and timeline, as well as assessing and developing the client’s prospective base of support.

When do clients need Campaign Planning?
When an organization has identified the need for a campaign but requires analysis of the campaign case, fundraising goals and volunteer/staff infrastructure to determine if the organization is ready for a campaign, campaign planning with Vandever Batten can begin.

How does a Campaign Planning engagement work?
Our consultants and the client’s Board and staff work together to:
  • Assess the viability of the campaign goals,
  • Review collateral materials and communication systems,
  • Build a staff and volunteer infrastructure that will support a campaign.
We also meet directly with internal and external stakeholders to gauge how key donors receive the organization's case – a prerequisite for ensuring a successful campaign.
